Did Marvel confirm the existence of Robert Pattinson in the MCU?

Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has proven itself to be an arguably MCU project that touches on real-world pop culture events more than any entry. While Eternal confirmed the existence of both Batman and Superman before Ms. Marvel confirmed that the MCU has its own version of the Marvel brand, She-Hulk takes the idea to a whole new level.

Episode 1 shows Jennifer Walters knowledge of Pixar movies when he suggests her use Inside Out to help push her beyond her emotional limits and outsmart the Hulk. Then, in last week’s fifth entry, Titania called the titular hero “Shrek” in court, confirming that Mike Myers’ iconic animated franchise is also a reality within the MCU.

WARNING — The rest of this article contains spoilers for Episode 6 of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

Now, while Episode 6 didn’t really contain everything fans were hoping for, especially after last week’s Daredevil teases, the show has confirmed yet another real-world pop culture phenomenon called the MCU. Know the characters.

She-Hulk Confirms Twilight MCU Is Canon

Through a conversation between Patti Harrison’s Lulu and one of her wedding guests in Episode 6 of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Marvel Studios confirmed that the Twilight film/book franchise exists within the MCU.

Marvel
The wedding guest asks Lulu if she is “Team Edward or Team Jacob”, a reference to the two main characters from the Twilight series. In the real world, Edward Cullen was played by Robert Pattinson, and Jacob Black was played by Taylor Lautner in five films from 2008 to 2012.

Lulu then answers the question “Oh, my let it rest! You know I dated both of those actors,” not naming Pattinson or Lautner.

Did Robert Pattinson Star in the MCU’s Twilight?

Robert Pattinson has certainly made a name for himself in the superhero film world thanks to his portrayal of Bruce Wayne in 2022’s The Batman, which went on to become a huge success both critically and financially. But whether this A-list star exists in the MCU is a different question entirely after Twilight made headlines during She-Hulk.

These roles could have been played by different actors, with Lulu avoiding mentioning Pattinson or Lautner by name, even if the existence of the films is confirmed. It remains a consistent theme in other real-life contexts, which usually only refer to projects or characters rather than real people.

This line of dialogue would not be referenced again until later in the season, as it only took a few seconds of screen time during Lulu’s wedding in Episode 6. But given how often She-Hulk has used these kinds of references in the first six episodes, with fans waiting for Daredevil to make their mark, there will certainly be more like this one, which viewers will quickly see. would like from
